What is the 3D?

In this activity, students will be taught 3D design modeling by the teachers of Polish school II Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace z Oddzialami Dwujezycznymi w Slupsku for 5 days.
1st day: Introduction to 3ds Max, Screens, Coordinate Plane.
2nd Day: Basic Object Creation Techniques / Transform Tools, Transforming 3D Objects.
3rd Day: Creating 2D Shapes, Editing 2D Shapes.
4th Day: Ready-Made Objects, Poly Modeling.
5th Day: Receiving modeled products from 3D printer.
Our students are growing with a rapidly developing technology. With this LTT activity to take place, we aim to enable our students to acquire skills and specific competences for 3D design modeling. The things that we once saw in science fiction films such as genetic cloning, robots with artificial intelligence, unmanned airplanes, microchips, and more are now real in the world of science and technology of our century, so the benefits of LTT activity which will support this awareness are below: – Students will learn how to design solution of a problem concretely and then to implement these designs into real life. – Students’ reasoning skills and self-assessment competencies will increase, – The LTT activity will contribute to the development of students’ analytical skills, spatial awareness and mathematical skills, – Students will be able to solve real life challenges by using technology, – Students will discover the world of 3D manufacturing more deeply, – The participants will realize that the advancement of technology affects communities and future generations, – The conceptual creativity of students will be developed through 3D printers – The time and attention in the design process will be spent on developing and enriching the designs, not on the correction of timing or mistakes; so indirectly, this LTT will contribute to the improvement in students’ self esteem. – They will have a chance for creating awareness for the students’ future careers and equipping them with valuable skills. – Students’ problem-solving skills will develop.
