The STEM abilities in the 21st century

Serres School, 2nd High School Of Serres, will cooperate with International University and will carry out a 5 days LTT activity in November, 2020. Three teachers fr

om each project partner school will participate in this activity. In the organization which will be held in cooperation with International University and will last for 5 days.

Day 1: basic concepts of STEM education, incorporating design workshops into school process, 21st century skills which are developed by STEM education, engineering cycle in students, design process skills.

Day 2: Project-based learning in STEM education, Inquiry-based learning, Context-based learning.

Day 3: Comprehending coding in STEM education,being aware about robotics, Project based course design and evaluation in STEM education.

Day 4: Designing concrete models by using origami in STEM education.

Day 5: Effective design presentation and evaluation, and use of Web 2.0 tools in STEM education.

In this kick off meeting, among the activities mentioned above, a list of duties and responsibilities that were decided during project writing process will be prepared and if there are duties and responsibilities to be revised, they will be agreed. This meeting will be a meeting where all phases of the project will be thoroughly discussed, action plans created and all details discussed face to face. Each partner of the project will be responsible for introducing their own schools, selection of the project logo, designing the project website, creating the e twinning page, facebook pages and blogs.
